Helen Louise (Taylor) Huggins, 65, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 3:09 A.M., Friday, December 10, 2004 at the Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Helen had been a waitress and cook in Perry County and had also been a factory worker.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.  She was a member of Moose Lodge 930 in Pinckneyville.
She was born December 7, 1939 at Cutler, IL, the daughter of Louis and Lucille (Lipe) Taylor.
She married Virgil E. Huggins on August 29, 1955 at Chester, IL and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2004.
She is survived by three daughters - Louise Irvin, Carolyn Goodman and husband John, and Loretta Wade, all of Pinckneyville, three sons - Calvin Huggins and wife Merry of Willisville, Mike Huggins of Pinckneyville and Keith Huggins and wife Wanda of Du Quoin, one sister - Ruth Huggins and husband Vallie E. of Pinckneyville, one brother - William E. Taylor and wife Pat of Cutler, nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons - Virgil Edward Huggins and James Steven Huggins, one sister - Francis Taylor, one brother - Sonny Taylor and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 13, 2004 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Carl Mesiti officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment will be in the Holts Prairie Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
